Shenzhen Penthouse

This project is a high-end large-format private residence located in a core area of Shenzhen. The owner pursues a living space that combines modern minimalism aesthetics with humanistic warmth. Using light as a medium, we reconstruct spatial order to meet functional needs while creating a light-and-shadow habitat that aligns with the lifestyle of contemporary elites.

I. Design Concepts

• Less is More, Light is Form: Abandon redundant lamp shapes, make light the protagonist of the space, outline architectural structures through contrast between light and shadow, and enhance spatial transparency and layering.

• Scenario-Based Lighting for Diverse Lifestyles: Preset multiple lighting modes according to different living scenarios such as guest reception, reading, and rest, realizing intelligent switching of "one space, multiple scenes".

• Natural Light and Shadow, Return to Authenticity: Maximize natural light, supplemented by artificial lighting, to simulate light changes from sunrise to sunset, allowing residents to feel natural rhythms even in the city.

II. Lighting Design Highlights

• Public Areas: Adopt a no-main-lamp design, combining linear lights, wall-washers, and anti-glare spotlights to create an open, bright, and layered atmosphere for reception and dining areas.

• Private Spaces: Bedrooms use indirect lighting with low color temperature and low illumination, paired with key bedside lighting to create a quiet and relaxed sleeping environment.

• Intelligent Control: Realize one-click scene switching, stepless adjustment of color temperature and brightness through an intelligent system, allowing light and shadow to follow preferences, improving living convenience and quality.
